Jammin Kit Kat

So I've been trying to get used to and use Photoshop on my drawings. I really like how it looks but teaching yourself is a bitch. I'm sure i took everything that should be simple and made it oh so complicated. This took me like 3 hours. I need a Photoshop teacher

Sinclair le teddy bear

A character i've been working on for a children's book I'm illustrating. This is my first job illustrating anything ever and it has been pretty fun, pretty stressful, and pretty amazing....and i've only finished the cover so far. I should have the whole thing illustrated by the end of the summer. That is my goal anyway.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Icecream Man

It is officially summer now and when I was a kid I always looked forward to the sweet melody of "Pop Goes the Weasel", which was the delicious sound of the nearby icecream truck. But now that I look back on it and think about it, I always remember the icecream man being absolutely terrifying. He was always smoking and looked like someone who had just escaped from prison. And yes, the icecream man that came around my neighborhood did actually have tatooed tally marks on his arm. I always wondered what they meant but the more I think about it, I'm really much more comfortable not knowing.

first post

I just finished taking a comic class where we explored color and the narrative and this is one of the "free" assignments we did for extra credit. My teacher was Nathan Fox, who is an incredible comic artist who just did some illustrations in DMZ 17 and 18. Check it out
