I've been going through lots and lots of sketches, compiling them so they're easier to look at and access.

Black-White webcomic blog

I've started a web comic to vent my existential ramblings and just to have a little fun. It's about a little robot floating through space. I'm attempting to make it a weekly deal but we'll see how long that lasts. Here's the first one! Head over to the blog to check out the rest.

New work!

I've been ignoring the blog again. But since being nearly out of work and left without the amount of contacts I need, I've decided to inject life back into this blog. And will try my best to sustain it. We'll see....

Here's some new diddies.

Id and Ego animatic

An animatic I put together a couple years ago for a tv show idea. This was to get an overall feel for it. The general idea for the show is the relationship between Id (the monkey) and Ego (the cat) and their misadventures in the zoo they live in. One of my many goals for the next few months is to start fleshing out their universe more and maybe even produce more mini animatics like this.

Darwin's Evolution

The path that Darwin took to get to his final design. I abandoned the mammal direction because the film started to look like a Jack and Daxter rip off. So I took him in a more bird like direction and made him a bird.

Darwin sketches

So the reason I have been MIA for so long is because I've been cranking away at my senior thesis film with two classmates. The show is in about a month and we are nearly finished with all the animation! It feel unreal. I graduate and become a real person about 3 days after our senior film premieres. Life is going to start moving really fast really soon. Yikes. Anyway, here are a few sketches of the character I was in charge of, Darwin. I have tons of other sketches from pre production including some from when he was a mammal. I'll try and put those up after the film is released.

Senior Film Blog!

So most of my time is now being dedicated to my senior thesis film. My group and I have made a blog there where we're putting up all our stuff for the production. I'll probably be posting there much more than here for the remainder of the school year. (not that i've been keeping up with this one anyway.) SO HEAD ON OVER!

Laugh-O-Gram!

Recently I helped a group named Thank You Walt Disney paint the outside of the Laugh-O-Gram studios on 31st and Troost. In the first picture you can see what the studio looked like before the organization got to fixing it up. What they're doing is important to the city's history and the history of animation. They are still taking donations so head over to their website and doooooo it.
